Our aim in the Valley is to put aside all non-related issues, philosophies, political party allegiances, religions or spiritual beliefs and world views, and to stick to one theme: we were lied to about 9/11! The "who did it" , "how they did it" distracts and divides us. "Why they did it" is relevant however. It was not just for fun. There was an agenda behind it so that will always be a bone of contention.
The biggest issue in my mind is the message and how to convey that message without being pigeonholed and consigned to the fringe in perpetuity as "conspiracy theorists", radical leftists, reactionaries, anarchists, terrorist sympathiszers and chronic protesters with too much time on their hands, all of whom are easily written off by the middle class TV watchers, especially when some Dr. Know It All is presented to give us his / her esteemed view to pooh pooh it all as "stuff and nonsense", thus comforting our inner fears and quelling those nagging questions in the back of our minds, so we can go back to sleep.
I knew their were problems with the official story from Day #1 but was hesitant to get involved as i did not identify with most of those who were protesting. I continued researching 9/11 and the "why" issue for years. Only when i saw credible and "normal" people coming out did i make a decision get involved at a personal level and commit myself to it, beyond what i was doing on the internet and in my personal small circle (friends and family). Small because i have always seen through lies, propaganda (BS) and control mechanisms (herding) and have always gone my own way, and against conventional wisdom.
My contention is that most people will not get involved until they see that: 1. there are legitimate concerns 2. it effects them 3. credible and / or popular people are on board 4. they can personally identify with the group, and 5. they lose fear of disgrace or embarrassment (threat to social standing) or 6. (possibly) they themselves are reaping some benefit from the lie and will decide to give it up (their conscience kicks in)
The key, therefore, is removing obstacles to make it easier for people to identify and join.
A national poll in 2004 showed that 63% of Canadians questioned the official story of 9/11. Where are they? Why are they not involved? If they were, we would have chased the war mongers out of power or made them come clean long ago.
Have they all changed their minds in the meantime about 9/11 and accepted the official story? I doubt it. My guess is that the 5 main criteria (above) have not adequately been met.
So, we have a choice of means.
1. being radical and getting in people's faces and making a spectacle and letting the chips fall where they may, allowing the media to portrays us as they wish, which is generally negatively, (and which lends itself to infiltration) or
2. get outside the box, disperse and diversify, putting our best foot forward, alone or in small groups, spreading out in such a way that THEY cannot watch, control or disrupt us all, nor interfere in the message we are putting out, and not permitting THEM to track or trace the number nor identity of the people we are impacting. That would be the quintessential grassroots movement. That is what has destroyed dictatorships and monopolies in the past, whereas identifiable groups were quickly destroyed (unless they were wanted and brought into the greater plan).
The second option scares THEM more than anything else. When we show people that they have been lied to, that they cannot trust the media nor the politicians, they will turn the TVs off and end the mind control, and do their own research. When i open up to one person in a non-threatening way, the fear (usually) subsides and we can have a frank discussion, and they open their minds, allow them to think, speak and to find their own information. What they do with it then is a matter of conscience and choice.
We cannot behave like nor be portrayed as seal hunters, clubbing people over the head with our "truth" and expect to meet open minds. Also, if we act as so morally and / or intellectually superior to others as to dictate what truth is, then we are no better than those we oppose, and will be reflexively shunned.
I cannot predict when "critical mass" or the "100th monkey" will be achieved. However, based upon two random conversations with total strangers i had tonight, the veil is lifting and people are seeing major problems, and are aware of more than i had expected and are questioning many things.
Lastly, i am a strong supporter and proponent of free speech. People can talk all they want, anyway they want, about want they want or believe in. BUT, if you want to be HEARD, you better think long and hard about WHAT you hope to achieve by saying it., to WHOM you say it, HOW you say it, WHEN you say it, WHERE you say it, and WHY you say it.
I have no respect for any of these Power Creeps in the USA, nor our domestic variety, but if you disrespect them publicly in the midst of those who adore them, you are unlikely to make any converts.
Stirring up a hornet's nest, in my experience, has never been "productive".
PS I am not depressed nor suicidal, love life and enjoy what i am doing, an if i should turn up dead, please investigate my death as tenaciously as you have the 9/11 issue. Also, presume that i was correct in my assessment.
