'Civil Information' in action ...being the media and the message

  • Mood:
  • Music: Imagine

In response to those who wrote us and congratulated us on our recent street activities in Maple Ridge:

Read about it here

this is the way it works when we just to try to me normal, concerned citizens, doing a public service, as opposed to being a group of protesters, being "pushy" and "in your face" with our message. With some issues, it may be necessary to have mass protests to get your point across, but when you do that, you risk alienating a lot of people and you open yourself up to media spin, allowing the MSM to define who you are and what your message is, so it is self-defeating in a sense. There is also a time and a place for "civil disobedience" and we respect that, if it is appropriate to the situation.

9/11 is different and needs a different approach because it is a sensitive issue. They "shocked and awed" the populace that day, and carefully crafted a huge sacred myth around what happened and who was responsible, and made it sacrelige to question it, though many people have seen through it. They also put a lot of energy into defining what type of person would dare to question it (conspiracy theorists, whackos, tinfoil hat wearing clowns, and terrorist sympathizers), so that made it difficult for people to speak out or want to be associated with others who see the lies. We are trying to break through that conditioning, and it seems to be working.

With Civil Information Activism (CIA lol). Or as we say in Canada, C.I., eh, we are trying to get away from conventional wisdom of 60's style protest movements, which have a limited effect, and often even the opposite effect of what you want. Most people do not like extreme behviour or unruliness, and need to be able to relate to you and your issue, and lose their fears before they will join you. Today, we can be the media, rather have to make an impression on them and trust them (who are part pf the problem) to do the right thing (and their track record is awful).

We try to keep it simple and clean, and not load up on other unrelated, or seemingly unrelated social issues or agendas that distract and divide people, or cause them to make judgments about you before hearing what you have to say, or receiving your message. We also think that getting more people out alone or in small groups, in many places, is far more effective than many people gathering at once in the same place. Even if they don't stop to get info, we are planting a seed in their minds. The more often people see us, and see us acting "normally" and NOT living up to the "sterotypes" that the MSM has painted, the more it will dawn on them that they are being lied to. We are being the media as well as the message, and not allowing it to be filtered. I won't give the MSM the time of the day.

My only comment to them (Scribes and Pharisees) is: "if you people had done your job, i would not be out here doing this. You people are repeaters, not reporters, you have no credibility, you are the problem, not the solution, and we do not need you, nor will we give the power to you to destroy us and the world with. Print that !"  Generally, if people want to confront the MSM, it's better to call in to radio shows or write letters with articulate, informed dissent than getting a brief clip or sound byte on TV that they can then spin.

We get a spike in website hits  on days when we are out, which means we are having an impact and they are coming to check us out, getting more info, and some are signing up for the newsletter. If they had been driving by and did not have time to stop, or perhaps were ashamed to, even if they had been curious. Then they can read a report about what we were doing there, who we are, how they can get involved, etc. And we are doing this without anyone else filtering our message.

This seems to be catching on, but we are hated by those who preach and employ "confrontation". They are their own worst enemy, in my humble opinion. We know that most are well intentioned and share our concerns and our passion for getting 9/11 Truth out. It's a matter of methods and means, and getting outside the box that the "powers that be" created.

We don't need lots of people, just a few dedicated people who want to be part of the solution, not the problem, and who want to have some fun, and make new friends, not enemies.

Civil Information, eh !

PS while the John Lennon song 'Imagine' is criticized by many for being statement in favor of globalism (which i am against), it is also about taking down the barriers that divide us as individuals, and prevent us from getting together to oppose the globalist, corporate New World Order agenda). Identifying with eachother and cooperating with eachother when and where possible, and acting out of love (instead of anger and hate) are essential if we are to be effective and return the world to sanity.
